I love this tool, it has been quite easy to use and I use it daily as a way to communicate my product designs with my team. I work at a software and game development company as a designer, so having a tool so easy to use that behaves like an infinite canvas is a relief to me.

Miro is a great product that offers the remarkable ability to transform collaborative sessions into structured, visual experiences. My team and I use it to collaborate on brainstorming sessions to discuss ideas until it becomes a reality. The available templates and boards excellently support our collaborative work and help to break down tasks, easily track and monitor ongoing projects. Additionally offers real time collaboration features eg sticky notes ,comment , screen sharing ,voting and mind maps that improve team communication, streamline decision-making and increase overall productivity

Intuitive Interface, Template Library, and Sticky Notes Make Miro Effective for Teams

    5.0
    Feb 9, 2026
Miro is the digital equivalent of a massive office whiteboard, but better. It completely replaces our physical meetings. The tool is incredibly intuitive - if you know how to use a mouse, you can use Miro. We use it for everything from brainstorming marketing ideas to mapping out simple workflows. The best part is the "infinitive canvas" - we never run out of space, and we don't have to erase anything to make room for new ideas.

A strong collaboration platform for multidisciplinary design coordination

    4.0
    Dec 16, 2025
Positive experience for design-stage collaboration, works well as a shared visual workspace for coordinating on layouts, reviewing concepts with AR and MEP teams. The platform is intuitive and flexible, though performance slows down on large boards and more engineering-specific tools would further improve its usefulness for technical design teams.

Deciding Factors: Miro Vs. Market Average

Miro Likes & Dislikes

Like

Miro is intuitive, visual, and transparent, allowing for asynchronous creative work and input from different contributors on creative projects. I love that it is so flexible. We use it to collaborate on creative brainstorming, reviews of different design options, creation of presentation slide decks, and more. It has also been great that it integrates with other platforms my team uses such as Airtable.

Like

I really like the collaboration, templates, timers, and design features.

Like

Convenience: Whenever I have an idea that I need to write down I head up to my project canvas and write it down. Online collaboration: Any design you make you can instantly share with your clients and team and with the right permissions, everyone can contribute to it, it doesn't matter what operating system they are running. Pricing: It offers fair pricing, you can even try the tool without paying anything as it lets you create a canvas for yourself.

Dislike

Personally I haven't found anything that I dislike about Miro. The only bumps we've run into is when we collaborate with people on other teams who are not familiar with it and are a little intimidated by using such a visual platform. But it is very easy to share boards during meetings and have those folks add stickies when brainstorming, etc. So it's usually not a problem.

Dislike

When file sharing or inviting for collaboration goes wrong, troubleshooting or figuring out what to do next is really frustrating and confusing. Also, managing groups, frames, and exporting is clunky.

Dislike

Sometimes, with a big canvas, the application gets pretty slow, you have to be really careful of not overwhelming it with objects or images.
