It's an open source software (for me it's a plus), with constant and frequent updates. The platform is customizable and can be enhanced by a lot of plugins that help both teachers, students and even administrators. Support for SSO services such as Microsoft SSO and LDAP.
Moodle is highly flexible and has a very large plugins repository which makes it easy to adapt the platform to our learning and teaching requirements. This way I can engage students in interactive quizzes or discussion forums depending on the type of course they are in.
I can easily customize everything as per my need such as course structure and grading method and it also supports multiple learning formats and it is secure and very reliable it can handle large traffic easily.
Some admin pages or menus not very intuitive. Custom reports (standard feature) does not allow detailed filters (multiple conditions, logical operations), and you need to use third-party plugins.
Selecting a plugin from the large plugin library and checking compatibility with our current system can be a rather cumbersome process. It also makes it almost impossible to search for the features that can really help improve our courses.
What I dislike is that even for simple tasks I have to do many clicks such as posting any assignment and after updates plugins don't work fine which can cause issues.
