The standout features are the high degree of customizability and adaptability to suit different business needs, organization types, etc. In addition, the broad range of integrations available for the vendors other products and 3rd-party products are very useful. Finally, the product is constantly being upgraded and improved upon to keep up with modern needs and trends in the industry.
Handling the change management, ability to integrate to other solutions via API, direction of the product development
Efficient searching. Secure, scalable, and compliant solutions. Extensive integration with SAP ERP, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, etc. to eliminate content silos and enable viewing of content within the context of business processes / primary applications.
The main issues or weaknesses with the product are poor or incomplete documentation, often requiring reaching out for assistance on things that we would be able to figure out for ourselves if it were properly documented. Also, the product supports a handful of user interfaces, not all of which are able to perform the same functions which means we are also stuck supporting multiple interfaces for our organization. Finally, the client-side software is lacking and has a lot of bugs and problems, as well as lack of integration with modern OS software and features.
Some of the features were sold to us as working solutions with a little too light thought, leading to later confusion of the capabilities. The new tag-feature is not global but tied to a single master workspace, thus preventing us to use it properly when using both master and project worspaces. There is no way to change or fix any metadata for the old revisions (mostly freezing is ok but sometimes some additional info would be needed to add later on).
Support services are reliable and knowledgeable, however resolution times are sometimes quite long. Customer specific patches or hot fixes might not always be thoroughly tested by OT engineering, resulting in additional time for testing by Customer and/or rejection of incomplete fixes.

Good collaboration but some challenges communicating our need clearly leading into long definition phase
People are friendly and good cooperation with the implementation team. Sometimes things take quite much time, when other people outside the implementation team are needed, e.g. sales, product development etc. Licensing and billing is handled from North America and there have been some issues and lack of communication between local EU teams and those. Some needed features were lacking but we were able to influence and cooperate with the product development. - Operations ManagerGov't/PS/EdGovernmentReview Source

WebReports and LiveReports Enhance Reporting and Interface Flexibility in Content Server
We've used OpenText Content Server (formerly Livelink) for close to two decades, and it has been an exceptional product for managing our agency's content. As a developer, I like that it provides a lot of tools that let us create customized UIs for presenting content, as well as the API for integrating with our business processes. - IT Associate10B+ USDBankingReview Source
API Capabilities Noted Amid Ongoing Reliance On Support For Issue Resolution
The support response has been good, mostly due to the quick responses. Unfortunately, the need to always reach out to them due to poor documentation on the versions we use makes it impossible for us to solve issues on our own and always reach out to them.
