CRITICAL

“Unnecessary clicks, wrong focus, missing features”

2.0
Jun 17, 2021
Oracle offers all the tools needed but none of them are exceptional and they are presented in a poor UI that as a consequence provides a poor UX. There are often unnecessary extra clicks, illogical design choices, basic features missing. Succession planning for example couldn't appear more basic in comparison to competitors; when I raised this I was countered with "but we are mobile responsive". However they should focus on making the tool good enough on desktop before looking at making it mobile, as HR are unlikely to use something on mobile if it is already lackluster on desktop. An example the extra clicks can be found in Talent Review, where if i create a session, to remove people, I need to edit the session, and press next several times to get to the last section where I can remove people. An example of basic functionality missing can be found with the PA section not allowing you to choose your default filter, and also not even including a few all option. I actually had an HR contact me as they were not able to see the PA of an employee, and it was due to the filter being preset to "current" despite looking at the PA of previous years. There are other examples but these are just a few

Performance of Talent Management Cloud Across Market Features

Talent Management Cloud Likes & Dislikes

Like

Goals are pretty easy to manage. We can schedule the goal management process so any new employee gets the goal plan autoassigned as a part of onboarding process. Eliminates the manual steps. Easy to access. Mobile friendly UI. Performance forms are easy to configure and use. Reporting is very good.

Like

It offers everything, so there are inherent benefits when you use the whole suite.

Like

It allows maintaining every necessary information of the employee. eg. profile, experience, job information, compensation information, skills and training undergone by the employee

Dislike

The comments section for both goals and performance can be enhanced to use the copy paste feature which preserves the style. Most of the employees add attachments due to this. Ability to order the competencies or sequence them in performance form would be helpful. Would like to keep employee related competencies at top and others at the bottom. Anytime feedback within performance management tool would be great. Finally automatic integration with Microsoft outlook would be great to conduct review meetings, instead of manual meetings.

Dislike

Focus on being mobile responsive instead of on development and enhancement on very lackluster tools.

Dislike

Instead of a single-step process, user has to do multiple clicks.

    5.0
    Apr 3, 2019
Talent Management Cloud is a system that allows you to manage the entire talent life-cycle from sourcing the best candidates, managing goals and performance, performing talent reviews, and developing careers and succession. This system has allowed my company to gain efficiency in many areas, and the thought of having one HR system in the cloud that contains all of our data is very exciting. It's just an ideal solution for a large corporation that handles large volume of applicants.
