Downtime Reporting Criteria Raise Concerns Over Accuracy Of Service Availability Claims
Multiple instances of requesting repayment after downtime extending past contractual obligations were denied because Plex refused to update their status page. Simply take a look at any of the "Known Issues" under the Plex Community. There will almost always be comments from customers stating that the downtime was MUCH longer than reported by Plex. Root causes are continually promised and never delivered. If we are lucky enough to get a Root Cause Analysis after a critical outage, it will not be more than 2 or 3 sentences. Go look for yourself if you're unsure. Many critical features are simply broken in the new 'Plex UX' version of this software. There are features in Plex Classic that are now broken and will not work in either version of the software - Features that have already been deeply integrated into processes and procedures. Plex Support is the slowest I have ever seen personally. I currently have a case that has been open for 1,183 days. You're reading that right, nearly 3 years.
