We have been using Plivo for sms and voice communication in our application, mainly for OTP, alerts and transactional messaging. It also lets agent schedule the callback on specific time, call recording features thats add a lot of value. Apis are well documented and has straightforward integration. Plivo has very attracting, reasonable pricing compare to other providers. Support response time and Dashboard and UX can be improved.

Plivo is a leading messaging and calling cloud based service provider, we have been using Plivo calling service for international voice calls like Malaysia and Singapore where it has proved its standard. Though we faced some issue in Malaysia displaying local caller id and worked with Plivo on same there Plivo support team were quite approachable and active so +1 goes to that.

Low pricing as compared to other existing providers like Twilio but service standard is good so as their support.

1) Dashboard UI and reporting are basic and not very intuitive. 2) Limited native video and advanced AI driven features. 3) Support response time can be slow for non-critical issues.

Slow resolution process, part by part solution instead of one shot. Sometimes call quality issue but support team is capable enough to handle such cases.

    Robust communications API provider with great reliability and coverage of messages

    We are currently using Plivo to allow click-to-call from our CRM, which has streamlined our support processes as well as our outbound business development efforts. Plivo API offers a very good Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) setting, enabling customers to use their preferred telecommunication carriers.
