Rippling Likes & Dislikes
Having all of our employee attendance and time off/LOAs alongside payroll and benefits is a huge time saver. In addition to a user-friendly platform (for employees, managers, and admins), being able to pull any Rippling data point into a customized report gives our teams the best information.
The Employer of Record payroll experience has been good. No issues there, they are responsive and know compliance.
I like the mobile app functionality and that there is continuity between the internet browser experience and mobile app.
Rippling is a top tier product, so they are priced accordingly. I don't love the current model of having to add individual services as their own contract items, but I understand why they do it.
Most of the apps you need require integration, which is an additional charge. The additional charges were not made clear to us prior to signing, even though our sales team knew exactly which ones we'd be needing. Once we finally did see the price, the additional charges would double our annual cost. When voicing any sort of displeasure with the platform, our account manager goes silent. But then will pop back up trying to sell us more services a month later.
I wish the landing page was a little more of a one-stop experience. Some of the navigation is cumbersome.

The platform itself is enormous, it logs everyone in as an administrator, however, if they don't have admin capabilities, they have to switch to an "employee" account. The UI is not easy to navigate. Implementation is a nightmare, they basically tell you what the platform can do and then leave you to build it on your own. We went through 3 implementation managers (because the first 2 were non-responsive). Reporting is customizable, but many basic customizations are not yet available.
