Negotiations with Rippling on prices for their services can be frustrating because the platform is still a fledgling with limited customizations and many bugs/oversights that our HR team needs to discover for them to work on fixing, but at the same time, many services from Rippling are a la carte and it feels like they nickel and dime you for every feature, despite the limited capabilities of what they offer.

Outstanding user experience (UX) and intuitive design.

Like

- Ability to customize access to various account access types (user, admin, super admin, etc.) - Ease of Ability to switch between different account types for admins and higher level users - Useful built-in HR resources to refer to stay compliant with state and federal labor guidelines

Simple breakdown of key services / features. Intuitive interface. Really strong customer service.

Dislike

The service doesn't have as much country coverage as other providers and the pricing is a little more premium than other domestic (US) provider

Dislike

- Lack of ability for standard-level users to reactivate previously deactivated accounts (If someone leaves your company and returns at another time, instead of reactivating their previous account, Rippling creates another one and does not openly distinguish how to access the new one to the standard-level user) - Rippling customer service agents do not seem to be passionate about helping users. I've spoken to agents in their help chat as a super admin and the agents were blunt, lacked empathy, unaccommodating, and gave little information. I had to ask various questions to get the help I needed because they gave generic cookie-cutter answers that did not address my question. - Despite notification customizations, Rippling's automated system sends various emails and notifications and tasks unrelated to individual positions.

Dislike

Has experienced downtime in certain parts of the platform when I needed them. Not always easy to understand routing for relevant approvals. Hard to find information for historical documents.
