The user interface is easy to navigate and easy to see what is being backed up, when it is being backed up and success vs failure of backups. We have made a few changes to our system after the integration that we couldn't figure out how to do, so we opened up tickets with Rubrik's tech support and they were VERY responsive and got us answers VERY quickly. I am confident that if they are that quick to respond to general questions that they would be just as responsive in an emergency.
Its quick and efficient.
The backup and restore functions are extremely reliable, the dashboard interface is easy to navigate, and the threat scanning features provide extra security confidence.
My only complaint about the system is that it doesn't like to perform backups on machines that have a certain number of snapshots taken. We try not to run too many snapshots, but sometimes it is inevitable that we have multiple snapshots on one machine because we are updating it or making changes.
setup of the exchange 2019 was not straight forward and several steps that were not documented were required to get the product backups and restores for our email infrastructure.
Our experiences with technical support can be mixed and have resulted in delayed response times. For smaller organizations like us the costs can be an issue if not managed properly or without dedicated planning. Another potential for frustration can come in the form limited open source compatibility which can limit seamless integrations with existing infrastructure.
