Easy to use and learn. I've been able to quickly teach drivers who have never used an ELD how to use the Samsara Driver app. The cameras are great, we've been able to get more visibility by adding side cameras through the camera connectors. Their customer service is exceptional, they are quick and have always been able to resolve our issues.
The fact that when a check engine light come on I get a code and tell me about what going on.
The ease of use of their dashboard, customizing the reporting parameters, and being able to see mobile assets in the field. AI tools help monitor driving behaviors and auto-disqualify false positives.
I think the main issues we've experienced were when we first integrated the technology onto our reefer trailers. From time to time we find that the door sensors have run out of battery or we can't seem to turn on a unit over the air.
The reports are not the best when it comes to easy of use.
Seeing an increase in issues where data reporting is compromised, most notably during a recent vehicle incident where a vehicle was totaled in an accident and no notification was sent out.

Overall, Samsara has been a great partner to work with, and their support team is super responsive in terms of timeliness. However, I do have some recent concerns about the sense of urgency regarding my concerns around the functionality and reliability of the monitoring of some of their equipment.
