Overall the experience has been positive because the platform delivers clear and actionable insights for resource optimization. Automation works well once properly configured and has reduced manual effort. The main challenges have been related to initial setup complexity and tuning recommendations for specific workloads.

As my company has been moving into the cloud one of the biggest concerns we have had is cost. While all the different tools out there in the cloud are amazing and leaps and bounds most if not all things come with a price tag. Subsequently my organization needed a way to be able to manage cloud cost, how to optimize return on investment and also financial accountability in terms of visibility for our internal teams and spending control as well. This tool has helped bring to light dollar value to specific cloud tools we have implemented and the true cost.

My overall experience with Datadog Cloud Cost Management has been positive. It provides a centralized & detailed view of cloud spending, which has been very helpful in understanding how costs are growing and where optimizations are needed. The platform fits well with other Datadog services & gives reliable insights into cloud usage & cost trends. What has worked well: 1) Datadog provides a clear picture into cloud costs across different services, accounts & environments. Its tag-based filters make it easy to understand where the money is being spent. 2) Since it works within the same Datadog platform used for logs, metrics & performance monitoring, cloud cost insights feel connected to real operational data. 3) Seeing trends over time along with projected costs helps with better budget planning & clear decision making. What hasn't worked well or could be improved: 1) While the insights are strong, it takes some time to understand all the cost features & how best to use filters, tags & dashboards. For new users, the interface is not always intuitive right away. 2) The tool shows where the money is being spent but doesn't always provide specific recommendations for optimization without integrating with external or third party cost optimization services.

Overall experience has been positive due to string visibility into cloud costs and clear optimization insights. The platform is intuitive once configured and helps teams quickly identify waste and savings opportunities. Some of the advanced features still feel immature and require more tuning.

My overall experience was good .The tool was easy to setup . The dashboard is clean and simpe so didn't took long time to find what I needed . It helped me track usage and basic performance without too much confusion. I also liked that reports are clear and not too complicated. Overall , it's a solid tool for basic needs and easy to review.
