The dashboards are intuitive, understandable, easy to setup through the widgets, reports and links. A very helpful visual in managing projects. Choosing standard templates for the Automation feature is brilliant! Once the templates, workspaces, naming conventions, permission controls and system ownership is setup it becomes a powerful tool. It makes project portfolio management, cross-project reporting and resource management a core operational system.
Capabilities as platform
fast and easy to use. it's great to build new processes out. highly recommend it to other companies.
When you hop into a Workspace with multiple other workspaces inside of it, you have to click each folder/Workspace closed in order to scroll through to find your project. That is time consuming and really my one pet-peeve.
Don't have wizards.
The support is limited. I have an ounce source support and it's very hard to get someone on the phone and they use a bot. that's not very good. but the overall community is great.

It only took me 60 days to go through Smartsheet University to learn all aspects of this program, setup all the Product Development folders, dashboards and develop training architecture to roll out to the company. Smartsheet has fast initial adoption for users because it does resemble Excel. It is easy to import spreadsheets and start tracking work immediately.
