-the service desk has developed strong expertise through an effective knowledge management methodology. - Proximity services like Tech-Cafe and Tech-Truck strengthen user relationships, with Unisys seen as the entry point to AFKL IT. - The ability do respond internationally, including offshore service centers, is a major advantage.
Sometimes their extended product teams have presented in a way that it was clear they did not know any of the history of our relationship or services, I noticed this in their Depot presentation, but it has come across a few other times when trying to present us with new solutions. As mentioned, some of their teams follow the model vs. common sense and experience.

Loss of OEM certification led to costly new PC replacements instead of repair, with room for improvement in communication.

In the Digital Workspace area, Unisys has been an excellent partner. We have a very collaborative relationship with great sharing of ideas. Unisys consistently demonstrates a focus on keeping our environment running smoothly with minimal disruption. They have been quick to call out risks and alternatives as we adapt to changes in our business environment. The Service Desk is overall very good but has made mistakes by "following the model" vs. common sense sometimes. An example is significant understaffing for the first day back after the end-of-year holidays because the prior few weeks leading up to the first business day in January (when everyone calls the Service Desk because they forgot their password) were quiet.
