The strengths of Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 are: Features - the product offers in depth flexibility when it comes to backing up and restoring our data, something that our previous provider did not. Implementation - this is one of the easiest implementations you will ever perform, from start to full backup of our M365 environment in less than 10 minutes. The onboarding wizard is super simple to use and will guide you through all the steps. Cost - the product presents excellent value for money based on the knowledge that your data is backed up securely and effortlessly.
Ease of use Integrated authentication with Entra ID Customizable
It is easy and quick to set up. Restorations are easy and give us the flexibility to restore for DR or just to transfer files/folders from one employee to another when an employee leaves or changes positions. It just works in the background - we don't have to worry about it.
There are no issues or weaknesses with this product, everything works as expected and there are no improvements that I can think of that would make this a better product.
The performance is far below expectations Two different environments for M365 and Entra ID backup Responsiveness of support.
My issues are minor. I wish there was the ability to select something in between 'restore all mail' and 'restore only this folder' that allows us to select multiple folders at a time for restoration. I do wish there was better integration between the Veeam on-premises backups and the Veeam Data Cloud backups.
