As a long time user of Vonage our overall experience has been positive. It has served our voice and text communication needs for years, providing clear, consistent call quality and dependable SMS messaging. Admin management is straightforward. That being said, the journey has not been perfect. We have weathered a few significant service lapses in the past that caused major operational disruptions. While the day-to-day is now stable it was a major point of concern. When viewed as a multi-year relationship, Vonage has proven capable and effective.

Like

The most important thing about it is the support and reliability this platform provides. The success manager who checks in regularly makes a big difference and the platform is stable with very little downtime. It's also very easy for us to integrate with the contact centre, which saves a lot of time for our teams.

The standout features are the user-friendly admin management interface and the flexibility of a month to month contract.

No issues with dropped calls due to network handoffs. Salesforce integration. Internal, customizable faxing capabilities.

Dislike

Sometimes we observed a slowness, especially while switching networks, which caused some call drops issues, otherwise its been a stable mostly.

Dislike

The biggest dislike stems from the historical service reliability. While generally stable, the platform experienced outages that have impacted our ability to communicate with customers this was a critical problem and proved to be a big headache during this time.

Transcription can be spotty. No ability to pull DND reports. No SMS to email capability.

    We use the product for business communication. It is very easy to use and integrates well with customer relationship management tools. Customer service providers of the software are very knowledgeable and reliable. Making calls and sending messages using the software has no limitations.
