By Microsoft

4.4
(727 Ratings)

Hyper-V is a robust tool which offers very good stability. Since it's integrated into Windows like an app, it feels native and super fast. The type-1 architecture ensures that guest machines run with excellent memory management. The VHDX storage resilience and the ease of creating quick checkpoints are really a great advantage of Hyper-V/ However the experience is dragged down by a dated user interface and a frustratingly complex virtual networking setup that often requires manual troubleshooting when switching between Wi-fi and ethernet.

I've genuinely enjoyed the expericence of using Nutiax's hyperconverged platform, and its an easy five star rating. The reliability of the solutionstands out above everything else. But what elevates the experience i the people behind the product, every nutanix expert i've interacted with has been knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping.

Professional level linux distro that satisfies many business needs at both the server and client machine levels. There are only 3 linux distributions that I would trust for such endeavors and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server is one of them.

Our experience with RHEL has been consistently excellent. The platform is extremely stable, secure and well supported making it suitable for critical workloads. It integrates well across on-premises and virtualized environments. While the subscription costs are higher than community alternativesm the enterprise support and stability justifies the investment.

It was a very poor decision to choose this product which ended up in wasting money and hardware still sitting in our data center that can't be used since its already end of life and end of support. They tried their best to implement it in our environment but because of the complexity it never worked. Not even a small portion of those services ever worked.

Red Hat Virtualization is a great. A cost-effective way to get your servers into a virtual environment. Some love it, some hate it, but if you're familiar with the Linux environment, this may be the answer.

Reliable for the workloads we're already running on it. However, due to it officially being a legacy product that is no longer receiving updates / new features, we are not using it for any new workloads.

Weve had a genuinely positive experience with Proxmox. Its one of those platforms that just does what it says on the tin. We moved from a more expensive virtualization stack and were honestly surprised at how stable and capable Proxmox turned out to be. Its been rock-solid in production, easy to scale, and gives us easy to scale, and gives us enterprise-level functionality without the enterprise licensing shock. What has worked well is clustering, high availability, backups, and the overall flexibility of the platform. The open-source foundation also gives us confidence and transparency. What hasnt worked as well is the learning curve at the beginning especially if youre coming from some other tool and some of the documentation can feel a bit fragmented. But once youre comfortable with it, its extremely powerful.
