We have cooperated with Wipro for years already, and appreciate that many of their L2 and L3 operations engineers, especially the local onsite ones, have illustrated high performance levels, dedication, professionalism and high skills. On the other hand, these engineers were in small numbers, while many of the assigned colleagues were L1 engineers, handling tickets just blindly and requiring instructions for every step.

We have used Wipro for Network management for years as a managed service for LAN and WLAN operations. We are interacting with L1 up to L3 engineers, some of which are very knowledgeable and great to work with, providing proactive and well thought approach to network configuration, network operations, downtime management and roll-out of services. We have available both onsite (local) and remote engineers, many of which have been great assets, who greatly improved our operations and all rollouts of projects, software upgrades, hardware replacements, network changes, actively participated in projects, and helped the in house engineering team in many occasions. Also many of these engineers embraced our management tools, helped us improve the adoption of these tools, and finally improved the efficiency through their feedback.

We truly appreciate the Wipro team's commitment & reliability. They consistently went the extra mile to resolve challenges proactively & ensure smooth project execution. Working with Wipro was seamless. their team maintained clear communication, collaborated effectively with our stakeholders & ensured that every milestone was achieved on time

Dislike

Some of the engineering resources assigned to our project have been L1 engineers who just handle tickets blindly, without doing any significant effort, and requiring instructions and confirmation for each step, without even trying to understand the ticket deeply. In many cases, they did not make good use of the management platforms, but just copy pasted configurations to the device CLI manually, without providing feedback. This made things being patchwork, and gave us mixed levels of efficacy and final experience.

The biggest challenge is the variability in skill levels among the assigned engineers.
