The features we utilized the most were email campaigns and workflows. I had translated a lot of our html from our existing routine emails to ActiveCampaign and the process was very straightforward. I loved how we could switch between the custom html editor and the visual editor to edit campaigns. I had to make a few changes to the code to make it work in the framework supported by ActiveCampaign but it helped make further changes with the more easy to use visual editor.

The ease of integrating the platform into our systems. ActiveCampaign is very flexible with their API.
If your use cases have some complexities that require - record to record (same level) linking, linking multiple accounts to a contact, etc you might hit a snag. There are workarounds and the platform is still growing so this could all be resolved soon.
Can't use our own fonts in the emails. Awful customer service. Worst experience of my career. We wanted to make a change in our plan before the billing. They said okay, kept us waiting until the billing period and then DID NOT perform the changes we wanted and charged what they wanted to charge. They said they would provide 5000 additional contacts for the trouble they caused. THEN they sent a payment link for the additional contacts.
I am not fully satisfied with the reporting and custom reporting capabilities. The platform lacks depth in insight, and the training resources for this area could be improved. I also believe that there should be a tool or integration that allows for bulk merging of contacts and accounts. At the moment, the merging process is very manual, and there is no existing tool or integration that effectively supports this functionality.
