Vendors have full control over their own profiles and onboarding, which has been a major advantage. This self-service model reduces back and forth emails and ensures cleaner, more accurate data. Coupa has empowered our internal teams. Each dept now has real-time visibility into the transactional data that impacts their P&L. They can review, reject, or request we dispute invoices at any point, creating stronger accountability. Reduction in supplier inquiries has been a huge benefit for AP. Suppliers can track the status of their invoices and payments at any time, which has decreased incoming inquiries and improved transparency for our partners. Coupa has created a streamlined, collaborative, and informative purchasing experience for everyone involved.

Are there any commercial off-the-shelf products that can help in the bidding/tendering process? I know Ariba, Coupa can, but we are looking for a tool that can help oil and gas downstream companies with these capabilities, especially on the sales side than purchase side.

I am interested in seeing the results.  They may come into play as we continually look to improve processes and remove risks, as applicable.  The process we have are more manual and are in the form of templates leveraging Microsoft tools.  Previous employers (retail) used Coupa.

Among the various contract lifecycle management tools available in the market, what do you think of various options like Docusign, SAP ARIBA, Icertis, Coupa? With a dominantly SAP based landscape, which could be a more suitable one? Consider it's a long term investment.

We are about to start a tender process for this and going to attempt to use the Buy Smart functionality. We also have a SAP based architecture for our ERP however it is unlikely we will go with Ariba mainly based on cost and complexity.
