SAP's brand positioning of Suite First disenfranchises many Ariba customers, us included. We do not have an SAP ERP and many of the offerings focus mainly on customers that do. For example, AI is one of those. It seems that SAP wants to dictate to their smaller customers and are not listening to our needs. There is too much red tape for smaller clients to have to go through. Our success is dictated by the quality of our Account Team, and there are no complaints here. Many customers without a good SAP Ariba support team will go through a lot of frustration with trying to get things done. Where SAP Ariba currently lacks is there customer support as there is a lack of urgency when tickets are filed. We have purchased an upgraded service offering and we do not feel we are getting the bang for the buck. When system changes are made (Service Packs, Hot Fixes, etc.) there is a serious lack of quality control which causes catastrophic downtimes.Read all insights and reviews for SAP Ariba

We have implemented only the AP (Vendor Invoice Management) part of the source to pay solution, not the entire product suite. Overall the application is working well, is stable and has helped us increase automation, albeit not to the degree we had wanted to. User administration, business workflow configuration and all tasks which can be done by the business admin are fast, easy and straight forward. Improvement potential: speed and flexibility on Esker side to implement changes, a broader "standard" product (which is inherent to an ERP agnostic solution) and no need for that many customizations, better reporting interface, proactive developments and integrations on the e-invoicing side, catering to more international requirements (Asian countries), OCR performance and overall R&D. Oracle Cloud Procurement is a modern system that matches the technology of the times. I appreciate its ability to integrate with many of the other modules in the larger ERP. Our organization has been live for a few years now and are comfortable with its offerings and how it is working for us. We were able to set up our configuration somewhat similar to our old ERP and were for the most part able to fit our processes.
