The fact that they're real devices is such a huge relief. I've never worked with an emulator that didn't have some inaccuracies or drawbacks. Connecting to real devices also lets me easily check the last few recent versions of each device too, which is essential when testing for iPhones or the Galaxy Fold, whose viewports and resolutions can vary so much between versions.

You can set alerts and monitor ongoing processes to catch issues such as bottlenecks, deviations etc. before they become critical. You can also monitor live process data and simulate hypothetical changes

Connecting to real devices, having them initialize anew each time, and then loading up whatever I need to test can take a while. That may be nitpicky, but when you have to test four different versions of iPhone, Android, Galaxy S, Galaxy Fold, and Google Phone, in addition to Mac and Windows laptops, you start to get impatient.

Advanced configuration can be tricky and may require training, also task mining may also require add-ons.

Steep Learning Curve for New Users: While powerful, the platform can be complex at first and may require training to fully leverage.
