It has been very useful in lead lifecycle management and nurturing campaigns, enabling marketing teams to create automated programs that move prospects through different stages of the funnel based on engagement. Marketing and sales teams are also able to share insights and coordinate customer engagement more efficiently as the platform integrates well with other CRM systems and the rest of the Adobe Marketing Cloud ecosystem.

Unprecedented levels of customisation and personalisation which outperforms other market offerings, but at a significant cost. In my opinion, it isn't as user friendly or intuitive as other offerings in the space, necessitating a strong internal training process to get users up and running. While I'm sure there are benefits to upskilling in using Marketo Engage, the time commitment makes me want to look elsewhere.

It's great for designing fairly sophisticated programs to automate customer engagement across multiple touchpoints. It has great marketing automation and campaign management capabilities. It allows marketing and sales teams to prioritise prospects and identify high-value opportunities using lead scoring and lifecycle management features. Its detailed segmentation rules also allow marketers to deliver more targeted communications.

Allows you to build out processes and campaigns relatively easily. Strong integration with other market leading software and platforms. A very good fit for enterprise-level businesses

I like that it's very simple to operate and robust with tons of many great features that makes it easy to run marketing campaigns. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels. Seamless connection with apps like SalesForce which allows smooth data exchange.

Dislike

The platform is relatively complex for designing campaigns and program logic management, especially for new users. While the platform offers a lot of flexibility with things like smart lists, campaign flows, and automation rules, they can introduce a lot of complications if not structured properly. The user interface can also feel slightly dated when compared to other marketing automation platforms on the market.

It may not be suitable for scaling businesses like ours. High barrier to entry from a user experience perspective.
