Overall, our experience has been positive. Both the Technical Implementation Manager and our day-to-day Account Manager have been extremely helpful, always available, and very responsive. Having the ability to communicate directly via our Teams account has been very convenient and efficient for collaboration. The only area that could be improved is providing a more comprehensive overview of the full feature set included in our plan. For example, we would benefit from additional guidance on capabilities such as Cards and how to best use them.

Like

Coming from an older vendor, this platform has significantly improved my efficiency. The ability to schedule campaigns in advance and the overall flexibility of the product are major advantages. I also like the ability to build sophisticated flows with specific rules and logic all laid out in one canvas.

Like

Having regular meetings with a rep is great. The ability to create custom reports. The ease of creating email campaigns.

Like

To me, their biggest strengths are their advanced analytics and day-to-day omnichannel campaign execution. My team and I have been able to remove our dependency for small data extraction use cases because of this.

Dislike

1. When duplicating campaigns, some fields become locked and cannot be edited. This forces a full rebuild of the campaign, which is time consuming and increases the risk of manual error. 2. Content templates are not portable across workspaces. This means we have to recreate assets such as email templates instead of using existing work which reduces efficiency. 3. Our apps are landscape only but the preview defaults to portrait view. While we can click to see it in landscape while building a campaign, we can't see it without editing the campaign. A configurable default preview would better support our use case.

Dislike

Autosave function malfunctioning, inability to customize mobile layout of emails (don't like how things stack instead of layout side by side, and wish we could imbed surveys right into the emails instead of linking out to google forms.

Dislike

Some advanced features are not very intuitive and require support and constant meetings with their support team. This could affect execution timelines sometimes.

    Day-To-Day Growth Tasks Simplified, Though Advanced Functions Require Ongoing Assistance

    Overall, my experience with MoEngage has been positive, especially for day to day growth and lifecycle use cases. One of the biggest advantages has been their advanced analytics capabilities, which have allowed me to be independent of internal data teams. As a growth manager, building frameworks and dashboards is second nature but quick data extraction has always been a bottleneck for our team and this is where MoEngage has consistently delivered value since we onboarded it as our Marketing CRM. On the downside, some advanced use cases increase execution timelines due to parts of the product not being fully intuitive. However, the team has been responsive and supportive in helping us work through these complexities and minimize timelines.
