Performance of Asana Across Market Features
Asana Likes & Dislikes
Integration with other tools and systems (all of which are streamlined into the Asana platform for a smooth user interface and communication). The ability to access Asana from my work phone and laptop, and the AI tools (unfortunately, my employer disabled the AI feature because of organizational policies, but before they disabled it, I used it and it works wonders!) The AI feature perfectly summarizes key project deliverables and communicates upcoming tasks and forecasts any potential problems or risks for completing the project on time and under budget.
Read Full ReviewOne great addition has been the automated weekly digest emails which summarises the recent changes across a team/project. It especially helps team managers understand velocitory, progress and general updates in an at-a-glance manner in your inbox.
Read Full ReviewLas integraciones.
Read Full ReviewIt really is hard to come up with any negative or critical feedback about Asana, because it is such an incredible platform! I would say one of the drawbacks about using Asana is that if another team member doesn't have access to the platform on a regular, consistent basis, it makes moving the work forward rather cumbersome. Especially if the colleague doesn't complete the tasks assigned to them via the Asana platform. I do wish that the Asana platform integrated with OneNote because that is where I manage my weekly meetings and check-ins and unfortunately have to enter any next steps or action items manually into the Asana work plans (there is no easy way to do this). Finally, I wish that I could include descriptions for the various sections of an Asana work plan for clarification and general information purposes. At this time, Asana does not have the capability to do so.
Read Full ReviewWe'd love there to be better, more powerful automation. And if it's there already, then clearer signposting and perhaps better ognoing retention comms to help existing users find new features / highlight features that the Asana team know we're not using. Instead, we get quite generic comms from account managers which look/feel automated. Use cases and product features are more helpful than a constant upsell.

Integration Capabilities and AI Tools Highlight Asana’s Efficiency in Project Management
Asana has been an absolute GAME CHANGER for me when it comes to effective project management! I am such a huge fan of the platform that I have even become an Asana Ambassador giving the tool my full endorsement! I am so impressed with the intuitive nature of the platform, how well it integrates with other workday systems and tools, and how easily I can report out project-related tasks to external stakeholders who are not on the platform. I cannot believe I operated for so long without Asana, but gone are the days of managing project workstreams on spreadsheets and to do lists, because Asana is a comprehensive, one-stop-shop project management platform for communicating with colleagues and getting work done more efficiently than ever before! - Organic Growth Manager<50M USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
- Chief Executive Officer<50M USDServices (non-Government)Review Source
Asana is the lifeblood of our success
Asana is SUCH a workhorse if you put the time and energy in. I've led industry workshops on how to use it for different things and we've solved nearly all of our remote workforce management issues using it. We manage everything from onboarding and offboarding to customer service requests to marketing campaigns to accountability of communications you can't get anywhere else. People are SUPER motivated to get their unicorn to fly off the screen and it is both as high level and as granular as you need it to be. The customization features are second to none and integrate beautifully across our entire expansive ecosystem. It's eliminated internal email for us completely, scaling communications to be unobtrusive and accountable. Nobody misses a deadline without noticing, and we say if it's not in Asana, you're not accountable for it. Using the free platform is a great way to dip your toe in, but as you get larger, the cost for additional licenses is not so prohibitive if you don't give all the admin tools to all of your employees. We bring in guest consultants and manage their workloads through there as well. You can have multiple Asana workplaces so organize your personal life AND your worklife from the same window! It integrates beautifully into Google workplace and with the addition of Flowsana there are so many automations that mean my team stays lean, inspired, and effective. There's robust reporting tools as well - you can build your own at-a-glance charts to share with your teams and set KPI goals and truly track them. We have eliminated meeting length by having employees report weekly in their dedicated portfolio and it ties to the KPIs while also showing trend of on track, at risk, etc so managers and users can see risk of falling behind, burnout, and more. - Director of IT<50M USDRetailReview Source
Great for daily task management, Needs a boost for full project management lifecycle.
As the administrator and purchaser of the Asana for our team, i appreciate how easy to roll out accross the organization. The UX is one of its strongest point, clean and intuitive, for both our technical and non-technical users. However, as a professional services organization like us, we use Asana as primarily for project management and this is where some limitations start to show. Key project governance like project risk, and issues register, lessons learned, and change requests are not within the same project taxonomy, and would require manual workarounds. While Asana work well for day-to-day task tracking, it lacks the depth we needed for customer facing projects that our business is doing. Overall, it's been a helpful tool, but we'd had to supplement with other tools to fully meet the needs of our project teams. - MANUFACTURING OPERATIONS MANAGER50M-1B USDManufacturingReview Source
