This tool was a welcome addition for our networking team as they finally had a tool that would help reduce the number of inbound questions to them regarding how things were mapped or worked. The network mapping and being able to visualize it really helped to streamline these conversations with end users as well as trouble shooting as path analysis was more easily done along with performance monotiring for any spikes or blocks. We really enjoyed being able to finally expose our network not only as a generated map but at times a live map to really make things transparent for all team members. This helped our network team to not only visualize but also in real time trouble shoot bottle necks before issues impacted more of our network.

We brought the Ansible Automation Platform into our environment about two years ago, mainly because our infra team was drowning in repetitive config work across roughly 150 servers and a mix of network gear. It wasn't a magic switch, the first 3-4 months we spent mostly cleaning up inventories and rewriting the early playbooks our admins put together. But once we got past that hump, the plarform has genuinely held up its end. Deployments are predictable now, audit trails are clean, and my ops team finally gets weekends back. Red Hat's support has been responsive to the tickets we've raised. The only thing that keeps coming up internally is cost, which I jave to defend at every renewal.

The platform covered a gap we'd been patching manually for too long. Deployment was straightforward and the device coverage out of the box was broader than most alternatives we evaluated.
