Compport is a sophisticated benefits management program. We used Commport to work with on Merit and Variable Pay Management. The budget roll up is a good feature on Compport. You need extensive Testing and configuration support to implement compport. We faced challenges in terms of accuracy of calculations in certain cases because the historical data is an important element in mapping the individual's payout eligibility. Compport struggles to map the historical data. If HRMS and Compport rollout happens simultaneously, the results and outcomes would be better as all data would be clean. If that's not the case, the implementation phase could go on for long. While the product has its merit, there are implementation and data management challenges, The consistency of Implementation partner is also essential as once there is a change of hands, the client would have to restate and align the requirements which can further lead to challenges and delays.
