“Strong Support and Modular Design Define DealHub CPQ”

5.0
Feb 3, 2026
DealHub CPQ is a very flexible and robust solution, which has been meeting all our Enterprise needs. It's very well designed and modularized, so we don't have to use everything, but if we want, there are already plenty of solutions to most common needs out of the box. We recently migrated from another Enterprise CPQ, which can unnecessarily be more powerful as it allows way more customization through custom coding, but that's not necessarily a strength, as having more options doesn't necessarily mean you're going to make the best one. I like that DealHub give all we need in a well-designed way, so we don't have to reinvent the wheel, while also limiting the chance for over-engineering and bad design. It definitely allows for API calls and some coding, but so far we have used and haven't needed much of it, which is positive, as the CPQ process itself is complex enough.

It gets the job done but it's very buggy - customizations are limited, frequent bugs and issues, OTPs don't come on time while signing

    Streamlined Proposal Generation & eSignature

    4.0
    Dec 8, 2025
Solution has a wide range of features / capabilities that require no code to configure. Implementation team from DealHub has been fantastic. We've gotten great feedback from our sellers regarding quote creation / approval / eSignature since we've transitioned to DealHub. We're (typically) able to iterate on this solution without help from DealHub / without any code, thanks to on-hands training from our implementation team / the admin course. Tool flexibility is great in terms of how it meets our requirements, but this flexibility is a two-edged sword—sometimes it means we've created an unnecessarily complicated architecture rather than being forced into one best-practice approach. Ultimately, this is a matter of discipline for administrators (pick a direction and stick with it), but it can be tricky to quickly visualize your architecture if you're looking for a "one stop shop" / need to bring someone up to speed on your specific configuration.

Positive Experience With Customization Offset By Playbook Versioning and Reporting Limitations

    5.0
    Dec 1, 2025
I have been using DealHub as an administrator over the last few years at 2 different companies. The product is easy to implement and use, and very customizable based on your business needs and product offering. What stands out the most about DealHub is the people. Whether it is the Customer Success Managers or the Support team, you truly feel like your needs matter and they prioritize getting you answers and assistance. I've always felt very well supported as a DealHub administrator, and DealHub also takes all of our feedback + suggestions into consideration for quick improvements and their roadmap.

Our overall experience with the DealHub solution has been very positive. The flexibility it provides and the ease of the system to learn and understand has been incredible. We have a very diverse and complex pricing across multiple different product families and we're able to run a price book and playbook that is easy to update and maintain. The Dealhub team is also very responsive with any questions or assistance required to work through or give advice.

Customization and support stand out, but editing quotes can cause delays

    5.0
    May 18, 2026
I've had a generally positive experience using dealhub. Dealhub was a product I had never used prior to starting at my company, so there were definitely some growing pains when becoming the admin of the platform. The more I grow into the role, the more comfortable I've become and the more complex we've been able to get with the quoting tool, ie. pulling in salesforce queries for product generation, using it for both our MSP and VAR sides of the business, utilizing the dealroom capabilities for contract execution. I can also say that our director of customer success has been incredibly helpful and available for any issues or questions we may have and that has been one of the best parts about using the product.

Our Project Manager, Sales Engineer, and Support team are highly engaged, responsive, and participative. It's not like before when we opened a ticket and wondered when all these big items would be solved. There were never too big of challenges that they were not able to address. Also their DealHub Academy is amazing! They show how to do it, enable optional exercises, and keep it true to only what's needed, instead of having to memorize so many processes that I don't even need to get things going or getting certified.

Like

Slack integration and alerts are very helpful. Hubspot integration works well too. Once you learn about its quirks, it's easy to use. The approval workflow works well.

Like

1. DealHub simplified our quoting processproposal config can be tailored to ask precise questions based on transaction details, meaning we don't ask sellers to answer irrelevant questions in the quoting process. Sellers can clone past proposals to quickstart the quoting process. Approval configuration is flexible and approvals from different approval flows can run concurrently. 2. DealHub helped us merge multiple processes into one solutionquote creation / approval / document generation / eSignature previously relied upon multiple software solutions for usnow DealHub houses all of these processes. 3. Continuous improvement is possible without codewe can iterate on our solution without relying on coding.

Dislike

The product has some limitations and inconsistencies when connecting data across internal objects, following their own best practices, which is currently solved by duplicating data and managing it in multiple places. It's kind of silly for a company that was able to create such a robust system, and this is impactful to us, as for our implementation, product parametrization is heavily used, and the data duplication leads to recurrent mistakes, as there is also no programmatic validation of custom parameters. If you miss updating one of these duplicated data points, you'll only know when your sales team tells you something is not working. In the several times I mentioned it, I didn't get a positive response in terms of a solution.

Dislike

Frequent bugs, need to refresh constantly, lack of customization, difficult learning curve, not much troubleshooting possible on one's own without reaching out to admins

Dislike

1. Keeping up-to-date architecture documentation is tricky. It's tricky to easily see our configuration hierarchy. 2. Subscription management gaps (theoretically set to improve with a recent DealHub acquisition)subscription records track data from past transactions, but each transaction creates new line items rather than updating existing line items. This makes it more challenging to see aggregates of previously sold units, etc. 3. Support turnaround can be delayed. Our CSM has helped escalate urgent items, however.
