The document automation features are the best. Templates allow teams to generate proposals and pricing documents quickly without repeating manual work. Electronic signature capability allows customers review and sign documents digitally, which significantly speeds up contract completion. Workflow visibility, the platform shows when documents are viewed, reviewed, and signed, helping sales teams track progress. Content library, frequently used sections and pricing blocks can be reused easier across different proposals and documents.
Quick and easy contract customization and submission (sending to clients).
What I really enjoy about PandaDoc is how it simplifies the whole document workflow all in one place. You can create professional looking documents using pre-made templates, send them out, track progress and collect e-signatures quickly. The interface is easy to use, the automation features save a lot of time, and the real-time updates let you know exactly when someone views and signs a document. This makes the whole process more efficient and gives you better visibility throughout every step.
Advanced option configuration takes a little bit more of time, which includes creating detailed pricing structures and complex templates requires some initial efforts. Customization limitations can lead to certain documents layouts require workarounds to achieve very specific formatting. Learning curve for new users, some team members needed training before they could fully use all features.
We have tried to use this for proposals and the ability to make the look professionally pretty/not boring is very limited. The tool fights you on formatting, images and placement. For a true proposal I want to be able to make it look nicer than just a contract, and the tool does this but not to the extent I would expect.
What I really don't like about PandaDoc is that certain features can feel too basic or restrictive unless you upgrade to a premium plan and there are sometimes small issues with performance when working on complicated documents.
