Sometimes a bad CSM or their legal team's rigidity can make the experience feel like we don't have an ally but rather someone who's making our life harder. Besides this, they don't always seem to want to take full risk responsibility for EORs, which is exactly what we need them to do as part of this esrvice
While the interface is modern, it does take some learning to figure out where things are. I find myself scratching my head trying to remember the sequence of clicks to navigate to a particular area, almost every time I use the platform.
- Almost too many reports that give you the same information, so although they are customizable, it can be hard to find one that works - Invoice items can change and are not always clear, depending on who processes EOR payroll - Sometimes, there can be delays in answering questions, especially when it comes to HR policy, depending on the time difference

Initial Onboarding Challenging Due to Support Delays and Difficult-to-Navigate Interface
Customer support is slow, with an average response time of over 24 hours. They do have a chat interface helpdesk, but even after connecting with a real human, invariably that person cannot answer my specific questions and I end up getting referred to a "specialist" who takes days to respond. It was a frustrating experience during onboarding and the first 6-9 months of using the platform. The Deel experience has always heavily depended on whether we get a good or a bad CSM. When we have a good CSM it all feels very smoot, but when we had bad CSMs (and they have quite high turnover so we had 5 or so CSMs in 3 years) then it all felt sluggish. EOR Management Simplified on Deel Despite Some Reporting and Response Challenges
We've been using Deel for our EORs for a few years now. Their website/portal is easy to use from an administrator as well as an employee perspective. It's easy to onboard new EORs, and they find using Deel a great experience. The reports and automated functionalities help me to reduce the time spent looking for information. There are also several AI features that are very helpful, especially when you need to find compliance information across different countries. I use the AI search feature quite a bit. Our employees are happy with the benefits that Deel has available and they are easy to use. We had a difficult time with customer service last year. We had several customer success folks that shuffled through and just weren't getting the right support. When we said something, Deel leadership stepped in and made it right.
