Customer support is slow, with an average response time of over 24 hours. They do have a chat interface helpdesk, but even after connecting with a real human, invariably that person cannot answer my specific questions and I end up getting referred to a "specialist" who takes days to respond. It was a frustrating experience during onboarding and the first 6-9 months of using the platform. Now that we have been using the platform for about two years, I know my way around and consider it a good -- though not great -- service.

The ability to hire talent pretty much anywhere in the world is a compelling capability.

It's so convenient and easy to access any documents, payslips, or add expenses. Plus, they have a chat service with a customer service representative, and the wait is minimal.

The only thing to dislike to share is that action time for requests may take longer depending on the partner involved. We had a partner that would take 5 days and a follow up to respond. On the other hand, we have had a partner that responds within a day.

While the interface is modern, it does take some learning to figure out where things are. I find myself scratching my head trying to remember the sequence of clicks to navigate to a particular area, almost every time I use the platform.

The only point for improvement is that there are perhaps too many options for making queries, but everything can be located.

Great when you have a strong CSM, can be rough and rigid without one

The Deel experience has always heavily depended on whether we get a good or a bad CSM. When we have a good CSM it all feels very smoot, but when we had bad CSMs (and they have quite high turnover so we had 5 or so CSMs in 3 years) then it all felt sluggish. It's a great product.
