The tool was easy to set up and learn. We have a variety of agents monitoring and responding, and assigning cases to Astute Agent for tracking is so efficient!

Astute Social is one of the best tools we have found for monitoring and responding to our social programs. It captures public comments, direct and private messages as well as dark ads provided you have access to your ad accounts. It also is integrated with our CRM tool for easy documentation.

It eliminates unnecessary noise so that agents can focus on posts that really need answering.

There are occasional glitches with the API connections, but we know that is not unique to this vendor.

There are inconsistencies in the collection of data which are frustrating particularly on dark posts. if we look directly at the post it will say X number of comments, when we check in the tool it will say Y number of comments and there is no rhyme or reason as to why it did not collect all of the comments. It does not happen all the time, but when you are required to monitor 100% it is difficult to know when you have it all and when you don't.

Dislike

It's a bit complicated to learn but as long as you have a couple of folks who know what they are doing, it can be very beneficial. It doesn't handle Amazon as well as there is a long lag in getting data from Amazon.

    A Responsive Partner and a Good Tool

    We have worked with Astute Social for 9 years. We started with them when Social was a new area for them and they were a great partner. They responded to our asks and together we have created a system that works well for us. We are excited about their acquisition of Social Bakers to round out the publishing aspect and to cover some of the areas that are more challenging like Instagram ads.

    Astute Social has enabled our CA team to review social posts for multiple brands with various social feeds as well as ecommerce such as Amazon and PowerReviews. By allowing us to review and route relevant posts that need responses into our regular workflow for documentation and response has made our team much more efficient. We have been able to minimize noise and get down to what really needs to be answered.
