The team is flexible, highly thorough, and provides strong support with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all the requirements are met and nothing is overlooked during a solution implementation.

Like

OnBase has significantly reduced the time we spend on manual tasks, has greatly improved our productivity, and has a great search functionality. Workflow automation is also a great feature that has helped reduce manual tasks.

There are so many great things about the product, but just off the top I would list these: 1. Workflow 2.Reporting Dashboards 3.Advanced Capture

Dislike

Some departments felt the interface was not modern, that document classification would require significant effort, and that managing access for external teams and the public might be insufficient; they expected a simplified user experience but when demoed, they did believe the product would not be easy to use.

Dislike

The user interface feels dated and is not always intuitive for new users. Customization can be complex and often requires support from IT. There is an occasional performance lag with larger document batches.

Dislike

Currently I think the focus on Cloud and AI is overblown and not where the base is at.

    OnBase User Observes Shifting Focus Away From Core Capabilities And Affordability

    I have worked with this product "OnBase" for over 26 years, in that time I have had generally a very positive experience. That said, times have changed and I am extremely concerned with the lack of focus on the core product and making necessary improvements and enhancements. As well a major shift in costs to a point that they may price out 25-35% of their current base which will hurt everyone.

    Overall a positive experience. The new leadership is moving the company in the right direction towards bringing in AI and more recent technologies. There is room for improvement, especially around customer support and cloud services. The new leadership is making positive changes in both and we're seeing progress in improving their customer support and cloud services for their large enterprise customers.
