Is anyone using a central AI to report on project status in realtime highlighting dependencies and bottlenecks. Or are you just connecting project management systems (MS Project, Jira, Primavera) to dashboards with Power BI or Tableau?

Leading indicators are super useful because they give you a heads-up about potential problems instead of just telling you what’s already gone wrong. We are using an AI powered tool ( can't be named here, I guess) that gets you insights that help you notice issues before they escalate. Plus, it really encourages everyone to be transparent about project status so the whole team knows what’s going on from the get-go. This openness motivates everyone to take responsibility and helps build strong teams that tackle problems early on and stay focused on their goals together. Traditional reporting often comes too late to make necessary changes. By being proactive and embracing transparency with some AI support, teams can adapt and improve on their own. The key is to catch issues early and empower teams to make adjustments as needed. AI plays a role in all team decisions, like a performance coach, and also helps out at the management level. It identifies risks and suggests improvements for senior executives. I hope that helps? 🙂

    Version Control and Integration Enhance Experience Despite Complex Workflow Setup

    Jira made my experience good as it has the best version control so I can see who changed what and when so it is easy to retrieve back if needed. It can be integrated with the tools I use daily such as Slack, GitHub and others which makes the workflow much smoother.

    Jira has transformed how we coordinate marketing projects and don resourcing planning, especially across teams. Having developers, product managers and marketers working from the same system has reduced a lot of friction. The workflow customisation is deep enough to tailor workflows to how your team actually works, but getting everyone up to speed takes real effort.

    Flexible for technical projects, but advanced settings can be confusing

    The use of Jira was very positive, we did a lot of technical projects, exchanges between our teams and for tracking vulnerabilities. It is great for ideas and organizing projects and tasks, so it is flexible and has good integration of tools and customization. On the other hand, it has some difficult config for advanced options. Maybe to simplify reporting for people that are not so much technical.

Like

It's easy to create and track tickets, has simple workflow management, a good notification system, and helpful dashboard features. Integration with other tools is also useful.

Like

The kanban boards make it easy to track the status of different content pieces and campaigns. Setting up rules to move tasks automatically saves a lot of manual time, and it can be useful for different teams. It also connects the teams since it's a very broad platform, it organizes everything in one place.

It offers me to manage my work such as tasks, stories, features and bugs which I really like. I can view my work in multiple views to see the progress in visualization form such as Kanban, scrum.

Dislike

Some advanced Workflow Automation settings can be difficult for new users to configure. Reporting and dashboard customization can be improved for better flexibility. The system can also feel slow or complex when handling larger projects with multiple tasks and users.

Dislike

Data management and the platform seem a lot, it's easy to get lost in between all the different pages and information from different groups and teams. It can be overwhelming for new team members at first. If there's a lot on the pages, heavy boards and many tasks, it can slow things down. The UI feels a bit outdated and crowded, sometimes it's hard to find things, it's not very organized and simple.

Dislike

To work it requires to setup the workflow which I don't like also to setup workflow it needs a lot time and efforts also emails and in apps notification are overloaded.
