The visual collaboration is second to none. It allows us to map out ideas in one shared space, and see the relationships and flows between ideas more clearly compared to a text-based editor. Miro works for all our teams in the business, whether that's design, development or project management, which is important to us. We also benefit from the wide array of templates to kickstart our ideation process.
I really like the collaboration, templates, timers, and design features.
Miro is intuitive, visual, and transparent, allowing for asynchronous creative work and input from different contributors on creative projects. I love that it is so flexible. We use it to collaborate on creative brainstorming, reviews of different design options, creation of presentation slide decks, and more. It has also been great that it integrates with other platforms my team uses such as Airtable.
Sometimes when our boards get very large, we do experience some lagging and the offline experience becomes quite difficult however this is only in rare occasions. The free plan can be quite limited so it's recommended to invest in a paid plan which is now a business expense.
When file sharing or inviting for collaboration goes wrong, troubleshooting or figuring out what to do next is really frustrating and confusing. Also, managing groups, frames, and exporting is clunky.
Personally I haven't found anything that I dislike about Miro. The only bumps we've run into is when we collaborate with people on other teams who are not familiar with it and are a little intimidated by using such a visual platform. But it is very easy to share boards during meetings and have those folks add stickies when brainstorming, etc. So it's usually not a problem.

Real-Time Collaboration and Visual Mapping Enhance Team Brainstorming Sessions
Miro has been fantastic for our team when collaborating on ideation, roadmapping and brainstorming. Real-time editing has meant our hybrid team can work simultaneously, seeing live updates. Miro has been vital when mapping our discovery sessions for clients and allows us (and them) to add sticky notes systematically across areas of interest, while being able to see the wider picture visually of where aspects connect. - Senior Exhibit Content DeveloperGov't/PS/EdEducationReview Source
Miro Rocks for Asynchronous Collaboration on Creative Design Projects
Miro is an essential tool for the interdepartmental project teams I work on. After a brief learning curve, it has become indispensable to working with designers and project managers on exhibit development projects. - SENIOR SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER<50M USDMediaReview Source
Excellent virtual whiteboard for online brainstorm collaboration!
Such a great tool for collaboration. Picture a giant online whiteboard where you and your team can brainstorm and visualize ideas, wether that's adding stick notes, arrows, images (or linking videos), etc. You can use colours and different fonts and see everybody that's working on the miro board at the time (literally can see their cursor moving around). - SR. Real-Time Collaboration Features Streamline Project Design Across Cross-Functional Teams
A great overall whiteboarding solution for all your collaboration needs. It immensely helps in the brainstorming, planning and designing phases. You can have cross-functional teams collaborate on a single platform. It really helps in reducing the time to design and execute the project with all stakeholders involved. External users and vendors can also be invited to boards for editing, commenting, etc. It also provides updates and changes to the board in real-time so you can see what others are editing. - DESIGNER & IT<50M USDSoftwareReview Source
Collaboration Features and Ease of Use Enhance Design Workflow Efficiency
I love this tool, it has been quite easy to use and I use it daily as a way to communicate my product designs with my team. I work at a software and game development company as a designer, so having a tool so easy to use that behaves like an infinite canvas is a relief to me.
