Performance of Miro Across Market Features

The three most valuable features include the ability to share boards with specific team members while keeping it private from others, the ability to comment on peoples boards and tag others usernames if the comment is specific to someone on your team and that person will get an email notification when youve tagged them in a comment supporting asybc collab in a timely manner. Another feature I like the most is the ability to copy paste between Excel and sticky notes because this is valuable for synthesizing information such as survey data. Youre able to take that information from a survey export and copy paste them into stickies in Miro, and then group them which allows for more visual synthesis of themes and idea ideas.
The product is intuitive, you can plug and play and the learning curve is null. The ease of use is fantastic and the fact that you can collaborate with a lot of other stake holders makes it a great tool for cross country teams.
What I like most is how easy it is to collaborate in real-time with other stakeholders. As a meeting facilitator, it makes it simple to get everyone's input in one place without things feeling chaotic. I also like how flexible the boards are, you can keep things structured or go more free-form depending on what you need. It fits well into how I work, rather than forcing me to change any of my day to day project related tasks.
Given that I work for a company that acquires and merges companies, it can be very difficult to manage merging the licenses between legacy companies and adding the right users to the license that youre using so generally access can be difficult. Another thing I dislike is that you have to have extremely strong Wi-Fi service for it to work or it lags a little bit. This can also be difficult when youre hosting a large online work session and if there are 30 users in your board, it can also create a lag. Another thing that I wish was improved was the organization of your boards within Miro. You cannot create folders within a project folder, so theres really only one additional layer of organization.
We have been using this tool for a long time but decided to change because of 3 main things: 1. Price: the price per seat easily adds up and without one you cannot do anything. There are lots of other tools out there that allow for different seat access and pricing that is more dynamic and works for our enterprise better. 2. Customization: Despite all the functionalities, I find Miro to not be too customizable to our needs and wants. Feature requests are not easy. 3. Support: The support is not up to par for the product. I don't find it easy to reach out when there are issues and things are not picked up quickly enough.
The product overall is great, however a couple of things to note are that larger or more complex boards can feel a bit cluttered to navigate over time, and it requires some effort to keep organized. Also, some features aren't always easy to find right away, so there can be a bit of a trial and error before you know where every template and embedded tools sit.

Infinite Canvas and Collaboration Enhance Productivity, But Organization and Access Lag
Miro is an application that I use daily for brainstorming, research synthesis, planning, and collaborative work sessions with my teams. The reason I like Miro is because of its infinite white space canvas that allows you to start small, but continue to build it out as you learn more information. You can create new boards for each project and have your boards be either private or public. - Manager, Project Management1B-10B USDSoftwareReview Source
Real-Time Collaboration Features Make Meetings Easier Yet Large Boards Can Feel Cluttered
Overall, I've had a solid experience using Miro on a day to day basis. It's easy to pick up without much of a learning curve, but still flexible enough for more detailed or complex work. I use it for working group meetings that require collaborative planning and workshops, and it works well when you have a mix of various stakeholders and ideas in the same place. There are ready made templates for use which are helpful as well. - PRODUCT MANAGER50M-1B USDMediaReview Source
A Powerful Visual Tool for Seamless Collaboration
Miro has become a central tool for how my team collaborates. Whether we're mapping out roadmaps, running retros, or sketching quick POC wireframes. It's intuitive, highly visual, and great for keeping everyone engaged in real time. The only downsides are occasional lag on large boards and some challenges managing permissions across teams. Overall, it's made our planning and collaboration more efficient. - PRODUCT MANAGER<50M USDSoftwareReview Source
Real-Time Collaboration Features Enhance Online Workshops but Guest Management Frustrates
Miro quickly became my go to tool for collaboration, presentations and brainstorming. UX designers use it for workshoping and facilitation of online sessions. The ability to collaborate in real time, see changes instantly, connect Jira is invaluable. - Project Manager50M-1B USDRetailReview Source
Miro helps you to visualize all your thoughts!
Miro is a very elastic tool that allows you to create minmaps, roadmaps, flowcharts etc. I find it very useful when I want to visualize some processes and make them easier to consume for nontechnical people. It has a vast amount of templates (I believe it's over 1000) so you can begin your work with an already prepared area. Now it also posses AI function of creating maps, charts etc from your prompts so you can describe your thoughts and Miro will do the rest :) Miro is also very helpful during workshops - it has a timer, voting, stickers etc so you can keep the track of time spent on some exercises and make workshops more engaging. It is also worth to mention that you can connect Miro with some other tools that you use on a daily basis (google sheets, Slack, Confluence and many more)
