5.0
Feb 2, 2026
Notion has become a core tool for our team's day-to-day work. We rely on it for note taking, maintaining reference files, and organizing product roadmaps through its database functionality. It works especially well as a centralized knowledge base, making it easy to link documents and point team members to a single source of truth. While more complex setups can have a learning curve and occasional performance issues, it's an invaluable tool for keeping our work organized and accessible.

Centralized Feedback Benefits in Notion Balanced by Cost and Learning Curve

    Nov 26, 2025
Notion is really good when used as a wiki and for information management. But it is not a one-for-all tool. Whenever I am facing a need to have a quick note tool, I wouldn't choose Notion I would choose something more light weight.

Notion has been a great repository for all of our company's knowledge and information. Each department has a space and it's broken down by team. It's so nice that it can store just about any file type so you can link all sorts of artifacts.

User Sentiment About Notion
Reviewer Insights for: Notion
Deciding Factors: Notion Vs. Market Average
Performance of Notion Across Market Features

Notion Likes & Dislikes

Like

The flexibility of its databases for building and maintaining product roadmaps, the ability to easily link related pages and create a true knowledge base, and the way notes, documentation, and reference materials can live together in one centralized, searchable workspace.

Like

Its easy to add people to the platform and also allows them to add their notes and categories them

Like

Creating structured docs on Notion is quite easy. It's not only a note-taking app, but also a database, project hub, brainstorming board, and internal documentation to us. As a small startup, we needed an all-in-one place for our internal knowledge system and Notion met all of our requirements

Dislike

There's a learning curve for setting up and maintaining more complex databases, occasional performance issues with large or highly linked workspaces, and the mobile app experience can feel limited and clunky compared to the desktop version.

Dislike

It's a bit messy in the UI and sometimes a bit to many option for layout so it looks messy

Dislike

The thing with Notion is that you need to be very structured with your workspaces, otherwise it can become cluttered quite quickly. If there is no structure in the workspace, it makes it harder to find information as the team expands. Handling permissions can sometimes be unintuitive when dealing with sensitive or team-specific content.
