Overview

Product Information on Guru

Updated 25th March 2026

What is Guru?

Guru is an AI knowledge platform that serves as the AI Source of Truth for enterprises. It connects information from systems such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications into a single, governed, permission-aware knowledge layer. Guru delivers cited AI answers, chat, and research directly within existing workflows, enabling employees and AI assistants to access verified knowledge securely and efficiently. The platform applies verification workflows, usage-based signals, and centralized governance to continuously improve knowledge accuracy over time. By structuring and governing knowledge across systems, Guru reduces duplication and manual maintenance, strengthens information governance, and enables trusted, explainable AI across the organization. Updates and corrections propagate across workflows and connected AI tools, ensuring consistent and reliable answers at scale.

Guru Pricing

Guru offers flexible, seat-based pricing designed to scale with your organization. Plans start at $25 per seat per month (billed annually) and include AI Knowledge Agents, verified AI search, chat, and research, with built-in AI usage limits. Enterprise plans offer custom pricing for larger teams, with advanced governance, security, and dedicated support.

“Guru Streamlines Information Sharing But Card Format Limits Complex Documentation Access”

5.0
Apr 8, 2026
My overall experience with Guru has been very positive. It has significantly improved how our teams access, share, and trust information, especially in fast-paced environments like support and sales. The ability to surface verified knowledge directly within workflows has saved time, reduced errors, and helped new employees ramp up quickly. That said, its effectiveness depends on active content management—search can get cluttered as the knowledge base grows, and complex or long-form documentation can feel limited in the card-based format. Despite these minor challenges, Guru’s speed, reliability, and in-the-flow accessibility make it an invaluable tool for keeping team knowledge organized and actionable.

“Overall good system, similar to others in the space and user friendly! ”

Overall a good experience - it's pretty user friendly for the admins (minus some feedback we have for the team) and when teams leverage this they are finding what they need.

Guru Likes & Dislikes

Like

What I like most about Guru is how it delivers trusted knowledge exactly when and where its needed. The integration into daily workflowslike helpdesk tools or browsersmakes finding answers seamless and fast, eliminating wasted time searching through scattered documents or asking colleagues. I also value the verification system, which ensures content stays accurate and up-to-date, building real trust in the knowledge base. Combined with its simplicity and ease of use, these features make Guru extremely effective at keeping teams aligned, informed, and productive.

Like

It's visually great - it looks clean and put together. For example, we can connect this to Slack for that integration since we are heavy Slack users.

Like

Ease of use and intuitive feel for content creation and management. Breadth of sources it connects to and how customizable the AI search is/ability to correct the AI answers. It is also extremely easy to migrate content into Guru when you're first getting set up - the process of initially migrating our knowledge base into Guru took about 1 hour.

Dislike

What I dislike most about Guru is that search and content organization can become challenging as the knowledge base grows. As more cards are added, it can be hard to quickly find the most relevant answer, especially when there are duplicates or similar topics. Additionally, the card-based format isnt ideal for complex or long-form documentation, making it less suited for highly technical or deeply structured content. These issues mean that without active governance and maintenance, the systems efficiency and reliability can decline over time.

Dislike

Wish we could customize even more - there are certain limitations with fonts and things on card content. Additionally, for some of the page functionality (that is similar to pages you may see in other tools in this space) wish this would pull into searches - for example we might build out a full product page but if someone is searching they won't be directed to that full page. Lastly, wish the analytics were a bit more user friendly and robust.

Dislike

Some UI quirks, like the fact that Guru cards all appear as pop-ups and don't open into their own page. I also wish there were more ways to customize the AI and knowledge agents, like setting a source priority.

Guru has been transformative for our company. We did not have any unified knowledge system before we implemented Guru, and with Guru we have an easy way to create and manage our knowledge base, and get connected to all sources of information so that Guru can truly be the first place you look for any and all information at work.

Guru is the best and quickest option to reach out when an advisor like myself has to check the troubleshooting steps or the correct workflow to solve a customer's issue in real-time support chat. AI integrated search helps find the correct card easily and the workflow can be detailed with screenshots, videos and anything we need to solve the customer issue.

Easy Information Access With Guru Contrasted By Challenges in Keeping Content Current

    5.0
    Apr 3, 2026
Using Guru is easy, both as a reader and as the admin in charge of documentation, it allows to keep documentation alive, updated and verifiable. Teams across our company are able to create specific Guru cards related to their roles, and Guru also makes it easy to determine who can see what, which is great for teams with sensitive content. They're easy to share and even export, the Chrome extension works great, it's not annoying and is fairly accurate when it tries to guess what Guru card you'll need for specific topics, which saves time and helps standardise processes.
