OnePlan has helped to standardize our project intake and approvals process, replacing multiple forms and workflows with a unified system. This has led to reduced administrative overhead and clearer project tracking.
What I like most is the integration with the Microsoft ecosystem - since our organization already uses tools like Teams and SharePoint, it fits in pretty naturally. It also helps bring projects into one place, which makes it easier to track progress and get better visibility across teams. The reporting and dashboards are helpful for leads when they want a quick snapshot of what's happening across initiatives.
I like the vast functionality of the tool as well as the quick and friendly service from support staff.
Some of our users find the interface less intuitive, especially for tasks like change requests and simple capital purchases (our custom built form). Streamlining approval workflows and improving visibility into who approved what would make things simpler.
A few of the challenges I've faced is that it can take some time to configure the platform so it aligns with the organization's processes, and some features aren't always as intuitive as they could be, so there can be a bit of a learning curve for new users. Reporting is useful, but I do find it sometimes requires extra manual setup to get what you need.
Frequent bugs (business rules not working as intended, reorganize plan type feature not functioning correctly 100% of the time) Inability to seamlessly move builds from test environment to production environment Native reporting within OnePlan is easy to construct, but not consistently reliable (pulling incomplete or incorrect data, reliance on third party BI for reporting)
