The ease of use, alongside the technical design capabilities that it has that a low-skilled front-end web builder such as myself to easily implement the solutions needed to grow our business.
I like how customizable WooCommerce is and all the compatible add-ons built by developers to extend the functionality.
Integrating it with your website is incredibly easy. The sheer number of plugins you can add to your WooCommerce store makes any task you might think would be time-consuming incredibly simple, allowing you to have your e-commerce site up and running in just a few minutes. I've even integrated it with the Sage ERP system, which has over 10,000 product references, making it a versatile e-commerce platform suitable for both small and much larger online stores. The only limitations are the ones you set.
I don't have any dislikes per se. Over the years, we've needed to do a lot of work on site speed due to the bloat of some of the plugins we've needed to use to work alongside WOO Commerce - however, that has been drastically improving month by month, and WOO has done a lot of work to move this forward.
I dislike the complexities that come with building out a full custom cart, especially in the B2B space. We were unable to get the cart to function to our needs for a highly complex pricing structure without customizing it too much to where it would make upgrades and maintenance very costly and cumbersome
It's true that they improve every year, but it's also true that in the Spanish market, payment gateways, and shipping methods, if it weren't for third-party plugins, they still have a long way to go. However, if we compare how it was 10 years ago to now, there's a huge leap in the tool's quality.
