Vtex Suits B2B Use With Custom Workarounds Despite Some Functional Gaps
Vtex has most of the features you'd expect from an e-commerce platform, and it generally works well. There are some returning issues regarding pages not loading correctly on the admin side, and performance could be better, but other than that it does what it needs to. A high-performing commerce platform with exceptional customisation capabilities
Overall, our experience with Vtex has been very positive. We particularly appreciate the high level of customisation available and the relatively contained licensing costs, which make the platform competitive. However, we are less satisfied with the legacy storefront support, especially when compared to fontend performance. System integration is becoming very extensive at our maturity stage impacting significantly customisation costs, which might be a challenge for the feature.
