The admin UI/dashboard is modern and intuitive. Managing the catalog, promotions and even some KPI tracking capability straight from the admin was something we weren't used to and it was great not having to switch between different apps (as we did while on our legacy system). The VTEX team members assigned to us were/are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Documentation is excellent.

Read Full ReviewThe three features we like most about VTEX are: Composable multi-tenant SaaS architecture (which gives us high re-use and lower costs for our other web and eCommerce sites), it's storefront experience (which gives us the ability to have a one-stop-shop website for both marketing .com experiences and B2B self-service and bulk ordering experiences), and it's innovation and future thinking capabilities (like Marketplace and Live Shoppe features).

Need more native integrations with 3rd parties to reduce complex customization. Also, it seems the true power of the VTEX platform is not fully realized unless most components of the commerce system are VTEX products. Some parts of VTEX (e.g., ticketing system, some documentation, emails) are still in Portuguese and may pose a challenge for some business users.

VTEX has enabled a major step forward in our digital transformation, delivering a modern platform that aligns well with our long-term growth strategy. Their team (especially the architects) was incredibly responsive, thoughtful and results-driven throughout the implementation process and remains so post-cutover. The admin interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, which has helped with onboarding and daily operations. That said, having more 3rd party integrations would reduce the need for custom work in future phases (even though most of our custom development stemmed from our own business rules, not platform gaps). Vtex Offers Stability and Scalability With Ongoing Platform Development
We have been using Vtex for more than 7 years by now. We had our ups and downs but overall they were always there when we needed them. Their support (of course, the paid one) is great and the constant consultancy regarding the implementation of our business requirements was great. There are some pain points like CMS (I understood that was solved in the last version) but the implementation of a complex business like ours didn't take too much (4 months if I remember well)
