Read Full Review1. Job logs, debugging and traceability Yes I'm boring but these are my top favorites. Even in complex workflows you can view the dependencies dig into each step of the automation to troubleshoot issues. 2. Genie The skills are easy to build, they're modularized and they feel like standard Workato. Our delivery velocity remains high even for these new AI use cases because the team already knows Workato. There are also lots of Out of the Box skills for us to customize to our use cases. 3. Native Slack Integration We work out of Slack for everything. Having the ability to customize workbots is critical for so many of our processes and now with Genie we have the ability to put AI behind these processes too.

Terminology is sometimes confusing. Engineers seem to be a bit stubborn about adding features that might help end users (open to fixing broken things, but less so with usability issues) - for example, no easy way to test run a job. No easy way to clear job cache.

Read Full Review1. Deployment Approvals I am being picky here because it's very easy to deploy recipes but would love to see a bit more functionality in this service. I care about this mostly because we run a tight SOX process and I think this feature could help us streamline some parts of it. I would love to see recipe Versions tied back to their deployment records. 2. UAT environment deployments Yes, another one related to deployments. We often have multiple features that we're working on for the same automation. It becomes challenging to ship the version that was tested by the users because deployments are only supported from the dev environment. 3. User Roles This is another nit-pick, but it would be great to be able to grant users multiple roles (or groups of permissions) so that we could build out a more modular approach to access.

Great integration product that is easy to use and quite flexible
The Workato platform is very easy to use and does not require advanced programming to set up integration jobs. It connects to a wide variety of platforms and services, and provides a lot of options for settings and data flow. While the main part of the platform is simple and easy, Workato still provides an SDK for programmers to write advanced custom data flows should there be a need. We were very pleased with the big data options available, such as batching of records, change tracking, subscriptions and more. Tight integration with Snowflake Data Warehouse is also outstanding. My only complaint is with some of the terminology they use for things, which can be a little confusing. However, they did offer us training as part of the implementation so that was all cleared up quickly. We've been a Workato customer for over 5 years and they have been a fantastic partner to work with. I will never forget the bake-off we did between different products. Enterprise-grade automation, security and flexibility with Workato
Workato really helped us improve the way we work. Since we started using Workato, our team finds that everyday tasks, like onboarding new employees, self-service account unlock, password reset, updating daily reports, and integrating with different systems, all go much smoother because a lot of these steps are now automated. Their guidance and support helped us speed up the implementation timeline and get a faster return on investment. The product support is outstanding and helps with adoption of the product. The intuitive interface helps new users or users migrating from similar platforms learn the product faster. The breadth of connectors and internal apps makes Workato attractive for all business functions. Platform stability is outstanding, with no downtime in the last 5 years. The new AI capabilities help a lot with the adoption of AI by simply infusing AI capabilitites in existing automations or building AI Agents from scratch. The customer success team has always been amazing. One of the best customer success services I've ever experienced from any SaaS vendor. Workato's vision is what sets them apart from the legacy iPaaS vendors.
