It offers multiple and all most every possible function of HR into one place which allows me to track the payrolls of employees and their records. The mobile app helps me to work when I am on the go.
I think the configurability is a plus; it serves as a single source of truth for HR related documents/ performance reviews/benefit elections/payslips which is good; I also know that Workday has a broad set of APIs which is another benefit and allows companies to tailor their Workday configuration to their specific organization
Everything is in one place
While customizing some reports its feel bit difficult and sometimes gets slow.
The UX/UI is not particulalry intuitive, it takes me a long time to find what I'm looking for, I think a HR help portal should be built into the configuration so that the Workday user can easily ask questions to HR when Workday issues arise. I also think the homepage is a bit barebones and can have more buttons/functionality - I find that it often takes a lot of clicks to navigate to where I am trying to go from the home page.
