I consider Deel to be an all-in-one platform when it comes to international work. I am currently residing in a third world country, and my employer is based in the United States and Deel is resolving issues that come with the distance and the logistical challenges that come with such an arrangement. It makes establishing an international payroll account much easier and simpler by not overcomplicating the requirements and documents needed; it streamlines the submission of our timesheets on a bi-weekly basis and even integrates itself to our time tracking and productivity tool; and lastly it gives us a platform to manage our employment and contract i.e. Deel lets us view, download and edit your contracts anytime, on any trusted device. By providing all of these aspects and services, Deel is effectively in the vanguard of maximizing our investment by giving more than what is expected of it by just being a simple payroll tool. Overall this is a great product. We're a smaller company and Rippling has a lot of features that would be amazing for large organizations - we're just not big enough to need them or find value in them, but it's still great for a company of our size (~50 employees/contractors). We moved from our previous provider becuase they were completely changing their service structure and increasing our cost considerably. Cloudpay is one of the few global payroll providers; they make it easy to consolidate enterprise payroll, combine reporting and performance benchmarking. From a support POV, when considering upgrading other centralized IT systems, having centralized payroll makes that process easier to integrate properly. Rollout is well supported, however I would like to see a more cohesive plan to share best practices from unique activities in different countries - often it felt as if we were the only company dealing with certain issues in a country despite it being local law. Overall, rollout may likely be more limited by how robust existing payroll processes are, especially dependent processes and systems that may not be centralized yet.
