I think Dayforce is one of the most flexible HCMs I have worked with as an administrator. We have much more ability to customize the system than others I've seen and this allows us to make the process meet our company's needs. Dayforce equips its users with the skillset needed to make these changes on our own; we don't need to have Dayforce configure this for us unless we want assistance.
The seamless connection to the rest of the Dayforce tool is great - you don't need to have file feeds, API connections, or logins to other sites to get to the recruiting data, instead you just navigate to another option in your menu and you're right there.
The recruiting and hiring process in Dayforce is very easy to navigate and self explanatory as long as you know what you're looking for. The FAQ information helps you find any answers you may need. The asterisk in the recruiting and hiring process helps ensure all employee information is not missed.
Newer features and enhancements generally come at an increased monthly cost, which I understand - but it generally means I have to wait several years before I can get an additional budget amount to add the new features. The wait time allows me to see the benefit to other users who have adopted the new features, which helps me build my case for increased budget. I'm able to share direct user feedback with my management team to help give real-life examples of the benefit we would see from using the new feature.
For those who are used to a full applicant tracking system, there are some capability gaps - especially as it comes to two-way communication with the candidate. Outbound communications are recorded, but the candidate response is not, other than the SMS text tool.
The difficulties of the employee integration not connecting and processing onto our other programs and software. Employees are having issues with receiving their first time access email from Dayforce even when we have selected during the hiring process. Some integration for employees must be done manually because not all information transfers over or is processed completely.
