I appreciate that Dayforce is always looking for innovations and improvements to the system to make it more useful to their customers. I also enjoy the community of users that Dayforce cultivates as a valued resource to all of their users. The free resources provided to us through the support community allow me to solve problems and improve my knowledge of the system on a regular basis.

Dayforce has aspirations of being a top-tier platform, but their aspirations far exceed the capability and current functionality / customizability of the platform. They're actively working to improve the recruiting module, but it's not yet to the level necessary to comfortably support multi-national organizations. Default reporting is more cumbersome than other platforms, although custom reports typically allows you to build / report on what you need, assuming you have the time to build the report. There are significant limitations to the systems capacity (due to the cloud server, per our implementation group) - as an example, you cannot send more than 5 resumes to a hiring manager at one time...this isn't a problem if your managers are regularly able to be in the system on a laptop, but that's not always possible and the functionality of the mobile app is near non-existent. They weren't honest with us up front about the challenges and limitations of sending emails within the system without the additional integration (and cost after implementation) which renders the communication feature within the recruiting platform useless otherwise. The implementation group we worked with overall lacked the level of service I've experienced with previous providers, although our implementation lead for the recruiting platform was always supportive and did her best to provide the customization necessary for our organization (or find alternative solutions when the system constraints limited us) - the attitude of most of the other implementation leads was lacking.

I think Dayforce is one of the most flexible HCMs I have worked with as an administrator. We have much more ability to customize the system than others I've seen and this allows us to make the process meet our company's needs. Dayforce equips its users with the skillset needed to make these changes on our own; we don't need to have Dayforce configure this for us unless we want assistance.

I'm still searching for the features I most enjoy, although our affiliate org who made the decision was specifically driven by cost, and the annual cost is low, which is nice, but also reflective of the tech you're receiving.

The recruiting and hiring process in Dayforce is very easy to navigate and self explanatory as long as you know what you're looking for. The FAQ information helps you find any answers you may need. The asterisk in the recruiting and hiring process helps ensure all employee information is not missed.

Newer features and enhancements generally come at an increased monthly cost, which I understand - but it generally means I have to wait several years before I can get an additional budget amount to add the new features. The wait time allows me to see the benefit to other users who have adopted the new features, which helps me build my case for increased budget. I'm able to share direct user feedback with my management team to help give real-life examples of the benefit we would see from using the new feature.

The communications feature built native into the system is lacking and really not functional without further integration. Onboarding lacks the customization and ability to appropriately sign and complete documents associated with our new hire onboarding process. Updates are pushed out to forms that Dayforce owns without effective communication in advance. The changes regularly negatively impact my teams standard OP.

The difficulties of the employee integration not connecting and processing onto our other programs and software. Employees are having issues with receiving their first time access email from Dayforce even when we have selected during the hiring process. Some integration for employees must be done manually because not all information transfers over or is processed completely.

    Dayforce Recruiting Provides Strong Core Functionality Without Bells and Whistles

    Dayforce's Recruiting Module is not a full Applicant Tracking System, but the fact that it is fully integrated with the rest of the Dayforce system makes it a beneficial tool for collecting and managing candidate data. In addition, transitioning that candidate record into an employee record with just a few simple steps makes the HR team very efficient.

    Dayforce Hiring Platform Easy to Use but Faces Integration and Publishing Challenges

    The recruiting and hiring process in Dayforce is very self explanatory and easy to navigate. It does make it difficult when you have a lot of requisitions posted that don’t publish onto our hiring website or other third parties like indeed, linked in, etc. We have experienced several issues where employee processing does not communicate to our other connected programs and software. A lot of things have to be done manually to ensure accuracy in hiring and onboarding employees.

    Dayforce Supports Employee Self-Service but Faces Occasional Slow Loading and Minor Bugs

    Dayforce is one of the best HR software because it provides all the important HR decision making related to employees in one place including attendance, payroll and benefits which makes work easy. It is also very helpful for the employees as they can see their information related to their schedule, their leaves balance and salary from anywhere through mobile phones.
