The recruiting and hiring process in Dayforce is very easy to navigate and self explanatory as long as you know what you're looking for. The FAQ information helps you find any answers you may need. The asterisk in the recruiting and hiring process helps ensure all employee information is not missed.
The seamless connection to the rest of the Dayforce tool is great - you don't need to have file feeds, API connections, or logins to other sites to get to the recruiting data, instead you just navigate to another option in your menu and you're right there.

The difficulties of the employee integration not connecting and processing onto our other programs and software. Employees are having issues with receiving their first time access email from Dayforce even when we have selected during the hiring process. Some integration for employees must be done manually because not all information transfers over or is processed completely.
For those who are used to a full applicant tracking system, there are some capability gaps - especially as it comes to two-way communication with the candidate. Outbound communications are recorded, but the candidate response is not, other than the SMS text tool.
Customer Support - This used to be great when we had PODs. Build a working relationship with my POD team members. Now, if you open up a case, it can take weeks before you receive a response. The worst part is they answer with copy and paste from the knowledge base. The time difference is also an issue. This is not acceptable. Time Away from Work - employees can't run their own reports and balances are confusing to employees as TAFW is real time for balances as they are submitted where their earnings statement balances are only recorded/reduced after each payroll processing.
