Performance of Asana Across Market Features
Asana Likes & Dislikes
1. I love the seamless integration that Asana has with other work productivity tools and products that I use on a daily basis. I can easily create tasks from my email or instant messaging platform, which makes it so much easier to manage projects and tasks in real time. 2. Asana's AI features are pretty easy to use and the rest of my team has enjoyed building AI-generated workflows and rules to improve how their projects function. 3. I love that I can message individuals directly in Asana, removing the need to send follow up emails after a meeting. It's all streamlined directly in the platform - efficiency at its best!
Project mgmt Features Capabilities Solution
What I like most is the visibility and structure it brings. You can quickly see who owns what, what's overdue, and how everything connects - especially on large scale projects. It cuts down a lot on the where are we with this updates and back and forth questions. The product is also very flexible, and you can build it out with timelines, dependencies, and automations as your needs grow.
1. Coworkers that do not use Asana with fidelity (or at all) make it really difficult to move work forward. I've tried assisting them with using it, but there's still a reluctance that I cannot seem to overcome, which makes it harder for me to do my work. 2. I wish that there was an easier way to connect Asana with our CRM platform, but right now I have to do a lot of the work manually. 3. It would be awesome to include descriptions for each section of a project, but I currently cannot do that. Instead, I have to explain what each section is on the Overview tab and toggle to the List view, which is a bit of a time suck.
Data extraction Reporting
What I dislike is that it can get cluttered pretty quickly if you're not disciplined about how you set things up. Over time, projects, tasks, and custom fields can pile up and it starts to feel a bit noisy. I also find that reporting isn't as intuitive as I'd like it to be. You can extract the data, but it requires extra effort to build dashboards that can tell a clear story for leadership.
