The aspect that I like most about Deel is the simplicity of its processes and its integration into our existing tools. For instance, my timesheet submission which happens every two weeks can be done in a matter of 5 minutes since I just compare the values that reflect on our time tracking tool and in Deel which is almost-always accurate and requires little to no editing. I would also like to bring up my experience with Deel and how accessible it is when it comes to my documents. I was outside at an appliance store, and they were asking for a certificate of employment so I can take one of their products on an installment plan. I was able to easily get that done through my phone and I was amazed by it since the previous payroll systems that I used did not allow me to do that since I did not do my work on that device. I am just amazed by how easily Deel enables me to do that.
When we just started to work with Deel I really appreciated how easy it was to onboard contractors & manage them after (incl. the invoicing). The platform interface was intuitive, smooth and well-supported. There was a variety of withdrawal methods for the contractors.
What stands out the most is the great integration between our EMS (Hibob) and Deel. This allows for smooth, mostly automated onboarding of employees, even in cases where they don't need to access Deel directly. The visibility into the payroll process is another highlight - having a clear overview of the different deadlines and working times each month helps us organize our internal resources. Comprehensive payroll reports brought our internal checks to a new level of transparency and control over our payroll operations. Additionally, having one platform to manage payroll across multiple countries has significantly reduced operational complexity. We also appreciate the responsiveness of the Deel support team and their willingness to listen to feedback and continuously improve the product
More integration with modern tools would be a great addition to Deel.
1) The immigration services. I would like to have a choice of Vendors from the Deel's side, the companies they are using seems to be the worst on the market by the quality of services (make serious mistakes, provide the incorrect information about the process & documents, apply for the visa with empty forms, ignoring visa application appointments, and many many more). 2) Also, contractors have their funds blocked on the Deel platform - withdrawal methods are blocked, and the only possible way to get their money is to use instant card method by paying huge fees to Deel and proceed with illegal transactions in many countries (where contractors can only use bank account details, but not cards). 3) Deel is adding new fees for services that were not exist when we start working with them (eg. documents checking fee - and there is no clear explanation what they are doing for this fee), with no informing the client in advance! Seems like the only one aim is to get more and more money from the Client.
Some integration flows were not possble to set up after implementation or didn't work as expected. While we understand that Deel's product landscape is constantly evolving, we would have appreciated a clearer communication and transparency about these limitations from the beginning. Occasional updates or changes to the platform are not always proactively communicated, which can require some extra follow-up. A more proactive and transparent change management process would be appreciated to stay on top of things. Lastly, Deel's rapid growth is noticable, for example in the responsiveness and consistency of customer support, which can vary depending on the issue or region. Certain payroll-related fees, such as charges for re-runs, can feel disproportionately high, especially when issues are tied to system constraints, evolving processes or when only a single employee was affected by incorrect input. However, Deel is always open to feedback and we appreciate our collaboration especially on these matters.

I consider Deel to be an all-in-one platform when it comes to international work. I am currently residing in a third world country, and my employer is based in the United States and Deel is resolving issues that come with the distance and the logistical challenges that come with such an arrangement. It makes establishing an international payroll account much easier and simpler by not overcomplicating the requirements and documents needed; it streamlines the submission of our timesheets on a bi-weekly basis and even integrates itself to our time tracking and productivity tool; and lastly it gives us a platform to manage our employment and contract i.e. Deel lets us view, download and edit your contracts anytime, on any trusted device. A User-Friendly Global HRIS, Simplifying Global Payroll, Strong Customer Support, but Some Room for Improvement
The Deel HRIS platform is intuitive and very easy to navigate. The global payroll function is straightforward, making it simple to run payroll across multiple countries. The sales process was seamless - Deel really took the time to understand our organization's needs and personalized their offering accordingly. Our employees transitioned smoothly, supported by a helpful integration API. They also appreciated the ability to access pay slips and update their own information directly on the platform. We've also benefited from cost savings by moving from EOR to global payroll in certain countries as we set up new entities. The compliance hub and immigration support resources have been very valuable, and the AI feature is a great tool for answering basic, day-to-day questions about country specific laws and regulations. Good in the beginning, disappointing after years of use
My overall experience with Deel started off positively, the platform was functional and user-friendly, the support seemed responsive. However, after 3 years of continuous use, I've noticed a significant decline in the service quality. The fees have steadily increased, while the level of immigration support and platform quality has become extremely poor - unfortunately, the worst I've experience with other providers (especially immigration vendors). On top of that, Deel recently restricted withdrawal options for international contractors which made the platform much less flexible and user-friendly. Automated Payroll System Ensures Transparency Despite Some Navigation Difficulties
We've been using Deel Global Payroll for a few months now and believe me it has made our lives easier - as part of HR and as an employee. Deel Global Payroll made sure we received our pay on time due to its automated calculations. Aside from that, it provides different options for withdrawal methods as well as transparency for any deductions and taxes that we may have.
