I like that it empowers multiple types of teams to work and collaborate in ways that are most natural to them, rather than forcing them into a prescriptive format that may be clunky or difficult. This could be a combination of Agile Kanban boards or waterfall timelines, you can choose which options suit your teams best. The Pulse is another key feature that helps us stay aligned without needing to send endless emails or chats outside the platform.
Customizable feature set with high potential to build a user-friendly design, and the visual interface is very appealing.
The UI and short learning curve for users is one of Monday.com's key benefits, and so this tool ranked very high in our evaluations - especially where user adoption of tools is not mandated, but encouraged in our org.
The curve to becoming a super user is somewhat high, meaning that it takes a lot of training to get your people up and running to get the most out of the tool.
Steep learning curve. This leads to many conflicting opinions on how to structure the platform. Too many advanced ways to customize the design has led to disagreements when integrating as a team sharing its workflow utilization. Additionally, the lower tiered plans are quite limited, which makes upgrading to a more costly tiered plan necessary,
The lack of flexibility around certain field types felt restrictive when we evaluated 12 months or so ago - however since we know that may have changed, and we were so impressed with the rest of the tool, we will re-evaluate this on a short list again in the future.

Monday.com is a great tool for project management workflows. I have found it to be somewhat of a Swiss Army knife of project management platforms. I like the visual flags the tool is designed to create automatically to signify when a team member may be over assigned projects or work tasks. Monday.com is capable with an excellent UI and is a compelling option for PMOs
We evaluated Monday.com alongside several competitor offerings and found it to be a well featured and easy to use tool for our project management needs. However, some slight inflexibility on customization coupled with another tool (that did allow that) already in place, resulted in use remaining with a competitor offering. monday.com allows me to organize my projects and tasks in a well mannered way, also it has multiple views for my projects such as lists, kanban and board which allows me to see them at one glance.
