Implementation and integration was easier than previous Expense Reporting systems, so it was more cost effective. Reported cost of licensing was lower than the alternatives we considered. Submission of expense reports and review of those was simplified significantly, saving time for employees, managers and support team.
It is easy and fast for the user to submit expenses and reimbursement is quick once they are approved. The AI engine is pretty good and most expenses are accurately identified by uploading the receipt or taking a photo of it.
1) Mobile application - very easy to use 2) OCR scanning of receipts. 3) Auto approval of expenses based on policy which is configurable at each entity level. 4) Auto reimbursement of expenses to employees within a week of approval.
There could be more chances for inaccurate reports slipping through the cracks due to the simplified reporting and automatic approvals. The likelihood that it occurs should be reduced by after-the-fact reviews by management and the support team, but it is still more likely than other approaches. This solution does not support customized car-allowance rates based on regional or location meta data.
As a manager, I don't receive sufficient alerts when there are expenses to be approved which leads to some of them falling through the cracks. I also need to use the web browser instead of the mobile app to approve expenses. Sometimes certain details such as TVA are incorrectly filled-in when using the AI receipt import.
Integration with other applications can be better. Can be more friendly with India entity and India regulations
