Performance of Ramp Across Market Features
Ramp Likes & Dislikes
* Can hand out credit cards with very small limits, and easily manage those, e.g. my employees can request additional limit, I can assign new cards with large limits that are fixed to a particular vendor, etc. * Attaching receipts is a snap. We used to need to PDF and attach all receipts, but now it's forwarding an email or snapping a picture. * Approval flow is much faster/easier as well. I don't have to hound my approvers quite so much. * Love that credit cards auto-lock if transactions don't have receipts in a timely manner... a great encouragement to keep things flowing.
Read Full ReviewI love being able to create a single virtual card for a one-time project or event and share it with all relevant users. Purchases are tagged to the individual and to the project, I preconfigure the accounting info, and I can build in restrictions and approvals or not, as the specific use demands.
Read Full ReviewThe simplicity and efficiency of issuing corporate cards to individuals for all kinds of purposes. This allows program managers to determine spend limits based on what's appropriate, as well as allowing the company to earn cashback on corporate expenses that employees make. On the employees' end, it alleviates frustration with going through the reimbursement request process and the processing times that it takes for banks to transfer the reimbursed amounts. Overall, Ramp is a win-win solution for both employees and the company.
Read Full Review* Doesn't integrate natively with my accounting software and likely that even if it did, it would be behind the Ramp Plus paywall. (I'm very happily on the free tier.) * There is a notion of a Ramp Department which sits outside of our accounting codes. I wish those could sync as that would help reporting. * IMHO, it doesn't handle well people who report to two different supervisors, but I think that's just a hard problem anyway. * 1.5% rewards on all credit card transactions
Read Full ReviewI don't like that only employees who have paid seats can use Ramp to submit mileage reimbursements. We have several employees whose need is limited to that use (and very infrequently as well), and the per-user per month fee is too high for such limited use. To get around it, we still have a separate spreadsheet that about 70% of our staff uses for mileage reimbursements, that they email to our Ramp AP email. It creates confusion having two processes but we do it so that the 30% who are in Ramp get reimbursed quicker, more accurately, and with less work from A/P staff.
Read Full ReviewCould improve on its autofill and vendor search capabilities. If you have a receipt from a small vendor or a merchant outside of North America, it's not guaranteed that you'll find the merchant from Ramp's list and you would have to fill in the details manually. There are quite a number of extra steps involved and I feel like this could be reduced.

Card Limits Help Address Security Concerns In Elderly Care Purchase Management
Ramp has been the perfect solution for our small business. We are a private duty care agency that serves the elderly. Sometimes our clients want their caregivers to purchase groceries or other items for them. I HATE the idea of a client giving someone their cash or credit card, not because I don't trust our employees but just because of the mistakes and misunderstandings that can happen. With Ramp, I can help our clients get what they want while protecting both their finances and our reputation. - Chief of Staff<50M USDHardwareReview Source
Ramp Streamlines Spending and AP Processes For our Start-Up Team
We have been using Ramp for nearly three years now and were early adopters of their product. It is a very purpose built system, and works very well for our start-up team. We use it for employee spending, Bill Pay, and Procurement, and are really happy with it overall.
