By BMC

4.5
(94 Ratings)
My overall experience with the BMC product has been very good to excellent. We currently utilize it for more than 50 automations, and what I can consistently state is that "once you configure it, it simply works". Our primary use cases involve manifest file transfers and automating workflows specifically related to these transfers. The product is excellent for these tasks, offering out-of-the-box functionality. Even for complex file transfers with specific triggers, it performs exactly as expected. While we also leverage it for some DevOps integrations, file transfers remain its main application for us. From an organizational perspective, BMC is an integral part of our broader automation workflows. We also incorporate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, and our measurement of value is based on the end-to-end flow. Consequently, I do not have specific, isolated measurements solely for BMC, as it functions as a component within this larger system. A significant benefit is its ability to fill gaps that other solutions cannot address. This is particularly true for manageable data transfers from legacy systems to newer systems. The product effectively serves as "our bridge between the legacy systems among the legacy systems and the newer systems". Modern automation solutions often lack the capability to interact with these older systems.Read all insights and reviews for Control-M

I've been using this product for several years. The scope of customization is wide, but there have been problems regarding the performance on loading times. While the machines it was installed on had more than enough resources for it to run, we incurred in performance problems.Read all insights and reviews for OpenText Operations Orchestration

VMware Cloud Foundation gave us a consisten, enterprise-grade Private Cloud on vSphere/vSAN/NSX with predictable day-2 operations. The best parts were lifecycle automation with SDDC Manager, built-in resilience and strong security via NSX-microsegmentation. Downsides were overall TCO, some rigidity during upgrades and the learning curve for NSX and lifecycle toolingRead all insights and reviews for VMware Cloud Foundation Automation
