We use Elasticsearch as the core search layer behind multiple product-facing APIs. It’s fast, flexible, and powerful, especially when dealing with structured and semi-structured content at scale. Search relevance, filtering, and real-time responses work very well once tuned properly. The main challenges are around operational complexity and cost as usage grows, but from a product discovery and search experience perspective, it delivers strong results.

Algolia powers the search and product discovery layer of our e-commerce platform. The indexing pipeline is fast and reliable, the API is well documented and the search-as-you-type UX is excellent out of the box. The trade-off is that getting truly relevant results on a non-trivial catalog requires deep customization of ranking, synonyms and dictionaries — not something you set and forget.

Vertex makes building, training, deploying, and scaling models significantly easier than stitching together separate tools. It’s especially strong for teams already in Google Cloud who want enterprise-grade AI workflows

My overall experience of using Bloomreach has been fantastic. It's a very intuitive program, with great training documents and support from CSMs. Rep. has been particularly brilliant in showing me different ways to use the tools and expanding my knowledge of the features to better help the merchandising for my company. There were some communication and transition difficulties when I first began working with Bloomreach, and this is why I couldn't give 5 stars. However, I would like to mention that these issues have not occurred in the last 6 months.

Constructor's support and communication provided during the sales, contract and implementation phases have been second to none. Their fast response times made our rollout smooth and frictionless. The team supported our internal resources with guidance and docs for ongoing management. Since launching we've had a CSM that is dedicated and understands the full capabilities of the products so that we can take full advantage of the features with guided insights and detailed results.

Overall, Azure AI Search has been a solid experience. It’s quite powerful when you start combining it with other Azure services like Blob Storage or Azure OpenAI, especially for building search or AI-driven applications. It handles indexing and querying well, and once things are set up properly, it performs reliably. That said, getting started isn’t the easiest. There’s definitely a learning curve, and I often felt that the documentation could be clearer—especially when trying to implement more advanced use cases. More real-world examples would make a big difference.
